Are you an experienced Java UI developer looking for your next contract? Our Tier 1 investment bank is looking for a strong UI Java developer for an initial 6-9 month contract to join their team, with the possibility of extensions.
As a contract Java UI Engineer, you'll be working with a global team to build out the next generation of their client onboarding software.
Strong Java UI/Front End developers with the following skills are encouraged to apply:
Essential skills:
- Strong object-oriented fundamentals
- Strong focus on automated testing
- Strong JavaScript, ReactJS, Type script, HTML skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience working in iterative or continuous delivery environments
- Experience with test-driven development (eg enzyme, RTL)
- Experience with data (eg UML) or process (eg BPMN) modelling
- Track record of delivering software products to production, with minimal on-going support costs
- Experience creating REST-ful web services
- Experience with micro-services architecture
- Also experience with Java, web services will be good
