Lead Developer - Golang/Python/GCP - Hybrid
One of Orbis' consulting clients are looking for a lead developer to join their software and cloud engineering team to aid the continuous development of multiple client projects.
You will be leading 2 Back End and 4 Front End developers and work closely with internal test teams and product owners to implement and deliver solutions.
The existing tech stack is mainly focussed around Python and React and they want to introduce Golang to this stack. All developing is done on GCP utilising the following modules VertexAI, Dataflow, Cloudbuild, GKE, BQ and Cloud Composer.
Essential skills;
Golang
gRPC
Python
Multithreading and concurrency management
Experience with Event driven systems
Publish and Subscribe architectures and platform level integration
Queuing and Messaging systems such as PubSub, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ
SOA/Microservices architecture
Agile and XP methodologies
Location - Hybrid, 1-2 days a week in a number of regional offices
Duration - 6 months rolling
Rate - DoE inside IR35
