DURATION 6 months
DAY RATE £competitive INSIDE IR35
LOCATION- HYBRID WORKING (LONDON)
Our client is the UK's biggest Retail, Digital and Mobile bank with over 30 million customers and a big responsibility to help Britain Prosper.
The Role.
We're just starting a large transformational project to redesign and redevelop our Credit processes and applications. The role will sit within the Origination Value Stream which is one of 3 Value Streams within Group Transformation Commercial and Business Banking
The Technical Lead will be responsible for helping to develop the technical design of the new application suite, identify integration points into existing Commercial Banking systems and deliver a world class technical solution using modern technologies and tools. This is a hands-on technical leadership role.
Technical skills
Software engineering experience in web technologies and Front End development
Microservices development
Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript with respect to development, testing, deployment, and performance tuning
Experience in Node.js, ReactJS, Redux, Typescript
Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
Experience using cloud technologies
Leadership experience
Experience of leading and mentoring technical teams to deliver high quality technical solutions
A proven track record of delivering complex integrated solutions involving 3rd parties
Working knowledge of IT Security/Data security/Compliance standards within a financial institution.
A working knowledge of agile would be beneficial, however technical and people leadership skills are required to ensure successful outcomes are delivered as part of the wider squad/virtual team.
Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, to gain advocacy and cooperation to enable a successful outcome to be delivered.
Key responsibilities
Deliver a truly modern Commercial Credit solution using modern technologies and tools
Help design and input into key processes that will underpin the solution and identify how they can be technically implemented
Manage key stakeholders and enable awareness, approval and delivery of strategic objectives
Ensuring effective relationships across Risk and the entire Engineering community.
