Description
I am recruiting for a Digital Developer to work remotely with occasional travel to the office in Glasgow - maybe required once or twice a month.
The role falls inside IR35 so you will have to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
You will be responsible for developing an end-to-end understanding of the platform business and application capabilities.
You will also play the leading role in defining architectural guidelines, patterns and development standards for the platform and implementing the technical strategy as defined by the Architecture team and leading the solution design for the given platform.
You must have good Java and REACT/AWS experience and solid experience of having been a technical lead within projects previously, ideally from discovery through to go live.
You must have design and/or development of applications in a multi-tiered environment using the Java language and related technologies.
You must also have design and/or development of applications in an Oracle 12c database environment and related technologies - Oracle Forms, PL/SQL.
Experience of design of data stores using relational and/or no SQL databases (eg MongoDB) is also essential.
