Description
This position is working for a small consultancy supporting one of their main clients. This consultancy are happy to hire contractors on a long term basis and you will keep your skills up to date working with the latest technologies. You will be responsible for working as a Database Administrator in a environment with 24*7 high availability systems. This position requires good knowledge of Cassandra and Elastic Search. The team are also currently using Terraform and Kubernetes to manage the database estate. The role is for 14 months initially and will be remote working for its duration. You will join an experienced DBA team and provide leadership and mentoring in these technologies. In terms of background you will need experience of working as a DBA on high availability systems and good knowledge of Cassandra and Elasticsearch. This position will be outside of IR35. You can be based anywhere in Europe for this position.
