6 Month Contract/Hybrid/£475 - £550 Outside IR35
Xpertise Recruitment are looking for a Technical Lead to join a government organisation to provide leadership to an agile software development team. The successful candidate will be an experienced software engineer who will help to shape best practices and principles and act as intermediary between the development and architecture team.
Location: Remote for the foreseeable future - Moving towardsHybrid in Edinburgh/Glasgow
Contract Length: 6 months initially
As part of the role, you'll be:
- Providing hands-on technical leadership
- Leading the development and support of the technical solutions to enhance tools
- Leading the continued development of products consistent with architectural and product roadmaps
- Working in partnership with colleagues within other teams to provide insight and direction
- Providing mentorship to colleagues
What experience you need?
- Commercial experience in:
- Java 11/Spring boot Microservices/Spring Security/JavaScript UI frameworks/OpenShift/DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Technically leading a development team across functions
- Developing within quality standards
- Designing and implementing solutions
- Unit testing
- Replacing enterprise Legacy systems incrementally
