Java Developer, Banking, £850 p/d - Outside IR35, London
Our prestigious investment banking client is looking for a very talented Java E-trading developer to work on a FX and Rates high frequency trading platform. The role is in a small team working closely with the business and quant developers. They have a very high technical bar. This is a long term role on rolling 12 month contract.
This is a very exciting new role which is a dream project for the right person.
Please note: YOU MUST have Excellent experience working on low latency high frequency E-trading platforms or similar Algo platforms in the investment/Hedge fund industry. Applications without this experience will not be successful.
They can be very flexible with WFH, with only the odd travel to London if preferred.
Role requirements:
- Excellent core Java, Multithreading & advanced synchronization primitives
- E-trading/Algo platform experience working on low latency, High frequency trading platforms
- Data structures, algorithms, design patterns, be minimalist when it comes to design
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of FX Products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Options and NDF's)
- eFX pricing/hedging/execution
- JavaFX UI development
- LMAX customized disruptor
