Oracle/SQL DBA, SC Cleared, Start June, Remote, 3 months+, £Good
Our client are looking for Experienced SQL DBA & Oracle DBA's to join their team for an initial 3 month+ period, with opportunity to also extend thereafter. This role will be remote based in the main, but flexibility may be needed as well further down the line. You will also need to be SC cleared to be successfully considered for this role, as the client will also verify the clearance is acceptable prior to onboarding.
As part of the responsibilities, you will be the main administrator of databases; designing, creating and maintaining these databases, whether simple or complex, regularly on behalf of the client's needs. This will also include regularly auditing of the databases in line with best practice to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. As a DBA you will also have good programming experience, including SQL when changes to the system and incorporating programming is needed.
To be successful for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar DBA role, including either SQL Sever or Oracle database administration & have excellent communication skills. It would be advantageous if the candidate has AWS certifications. Experience with data migration and data governance is also ideal.
In addition, There may be requirements to work Out Of Hours (OOO) if and when deemed required, so candidates must be flexible with this approach. There may also be an opportunity to attend and visit Client sites to further support that flexibility approach.
