Description
Data Engineer with live SC or DV Security clearance required by a well-known government body on an initial 2-month contract, with 12-month contract highly likely as this is a long-term piece of work that is being undertaken.
Here is the ideal skill set we are after for this position:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and robust code.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Python and Scala/Java
- Kubernetes, Docker etc...
- VMware, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Jenkins
- Experience in building data platforms
This Data Engineer contract is for an initial 2-month period but with a high likelihood of a 12 month extension. The role is Inside IR35, with a competitive day rate, on an exciting project of work.
This role is mainly remote although it is required to be onsite in Portsmouth for 1 day a week.
Please note we cannot consider any Data Engineer candidates without live SC Clearance or DV Clearance due to the nature of the work!
