Scala Developer
Hybrid working occasional visits to the office
One of my clients is urgently looking for a Scala Developer for 6-12 month contract with a tier-1 banking client
This is an inside IR35 role with no visa sponsorship provided.
Daily rate: Circa £600 - £650 p/d Inside IR35
The Scala Developer will:
- Demonstrable, experience in Scala development in at least one data domain
- Experience developing with multiple JVM technologies/libraries (especially Akka)
- Experience working with, and deploying to, cloud services
- Sound API design skills and knowledge of asynchronous API development as well as RESTful and Microservice Architectures
- Experience of the full development life cycle delivering Automated testing
- Write clean, scalable code, with a view towards design patterns and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse problems and requirements.
- Great design and problem-solving skills, with demonstrable experience in solving complex problems.
- Application Lifecycle Management Tools (eg GIT, Jira, Confluence)
- Experience or ambition towards mentoring and supporting junior staff
