Your role
We're seeking a talented Front End engineer to join the UBS Neo Personalization team, where you will be involved in the development of cutting edge, business critical systems for the Investment Bank using modern technology.
You will:
work as a Senior Web Application Engineer for the Neo Platform as part of the Chief Digital & Information Office
be responsible for building performant, scalable, responsive web applications for desktop and mobile using React, TypeScript and other cutting-edge technologies
join an existing team of skilled engineers, a UX designer and a product owner
mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and sharing your expertise to grow the team's skill set
Your expertise
advanced knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript,
knowledge of HTML5 and CSS/LESS with understanding of browser rendering behavior, performance and responsive tactics
experience in building Front End applications using React.js + Redux libraries
experience in working on complex software platforms
good understanding of asynchronous request handling
familiarity with Front End build tools (Webpack)
experience with Git
proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
experience in JavaScript unit testing (Jest)
fluent in English
