Principal, IoT Architect, Contract, £650+, 6+months, Remote
My client, a global leader in their domain, is searching for a IoT architect to come and join them on several exciting projects! You'll be involved in working with a cross-functional team in solving problems related to IoT, interoperability, data access, and device management. Working with multiple stakeholders to ensure the capabilities provide the experience required.
This project is inside IR35.
The ideal IoT specialist will have the following experience:-
- Solid experience in IoT and data solutions
- Experience working on prototypes to address Technical interoperability, message or data level interoperability, semantic interoperability with respect to IoT solutions.
- Experience in building and deliver proof of concepts (POC), reusable accelerators (frameworks, libraries, SDKs etc.) that makes vertical application development faster.
- Previously working on solution architecture for solutions spanning devices, gateways, connectivity and security layers, addressing functional and non-functional aspects for cross-sector/regional areas
- Worked as Principal or Distinguished Engineer in the space covering multiple business domains such as mobility, Industrial IoT, areas such as IoT, Device Identity, Interoperability, Contextual Information Management etc.
- Experience with protocols including MQTT, REST, AMQP, Modbus, OAM-DM, Zigbee
- Strong exposure to semantic IoT interoperability aspects such as NGSI-LD, Contextual Information Management etc.
