Our major Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join a digital transformation team, working across a variety of market leading initiatives.
The successful candidate will be leading a small team of engineers in a Hands on capacity, providing both technical leadership and strategic expertise in the banking and financial services space. This will involve playing a key role in implementing Azure DevOps, building CI/CD pipelines, and working on ways to automate and improve release processes.
You will be extremely passionate about DevOps and modern development practices, driving automation within an organization in a highly customer facing capacity. As part of this role successful candidates will need to have strong stakeholder management skills, coupled with deep technical expertise.
Key requirements:
- A proven track record in DevOps engineering, ideally gained within financial services, however other sectors can also be considered
- In depth Azure Automation and Terraform
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and building/setting up infrastructure as code
- Experience Scripting (Python, Javascript, Powershell)
- Containerization, Kubernetes and Docker would be highly desirable
- Must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Banking experience preferred
