SAP Lead Architect - £open rate - 12 months - hybrid working
Job Description:
The lead solutions architect will work at the portfolio and project level to support and guide SIs to design, develop, deliver, maintain, and support business solutions across the clients initiatives.
- Eliciting and validating business needs
- Ensuring and supporting adherence to architectural principles
- Leading the design of solution architectures to meet business requirements
- Fully documented solutions architecture
- Governing the implementation of the solution in conformance to the solution

Experience:
- E-commerce or Mobile tablet experience is essential*
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Solutions Architect
- TOGAF or similar certification
- Minimum 10 years' experience in an IT with experience of at least 3 Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- A confirmed background in architecture with real-world experience of architecting, designing, and delivering large IT projects.
- Working specifically in more complex multi phased programs/projects and experience of collaborating with internal and external parties.
- Deep-seated knowledge and understanding of key technology sets as specified. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, getting involved, and diving into delivery challenges.
- Ability to support requirements definition, review and management
- Understanding of enterprise solutions, including a sound appreciation of operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development and systems management.
- Develop solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems in order to perform an automated business function
- Ability to define and document end-to-end solution architecture ie, familiar with documenting high- or low-level design documentation (Archimate, UML, ER Diagram, etc.)
- Working with Azure DevOps with a full understanding of CI/CD, etc.
- You must have good interpersonal skills including the ability to relate complex topics in simple and accessible language.
