DevOps Engineer-GCP
DevOps Engineer is responsible for creating quality software and data structures that meet the functional and non-functional project requirements in the implementation, enhancement, and support of digital marketing projects. This includes producing application code on-time, on-budget, and in compliance with company implementation standards & practices as well as general industry & platform-specific best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain new solutions based on business needs
- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing solutions and recommend changes to be implemented
- Perform system security assessments to ensure that data is safe from unauthorized access
- Review all customer data sources and conduct data mapping required for use cases for deeper data discovery
- Create necessary technical documentation, data models and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to review & sign-off.
- Utilise CDP to automate all customer schema data lake & profile design setups within each sandbox environment
- Configure within CDP all necessary identities & privacy settings
- Setup BI connections and coordinate with the BI developer for data exports
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions in the cloud for meeting complex business data requirements
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with Big Data platforms, Adobe Experience Platform or similar Customer Data Platforms
- Third normal form, star schema, Snowflake, etc.
- Experience with Datamodelling, table design, and mapping business needs to data structures
- In depth knowledge in one or more programming languages (eg Java, Python, R, PHP)
