Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Flink/Spark Kafka/AWS/DevOps)
Fully Remote | 6 months | £500 - £600 per day | OUTSIDE IR35
SR2 are excited to be partnering exclusively with a digital E-commerce company who are looking to build the next generation of their data product and are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the team.
You'll be alongside an exceptionally strong engineering team who are working with some cutting-edge technologies and have some very exciting plans for 2022. The product an extremely interesting one that helps businesses to view their data from multiple sources in Real Time to help make strategic decisions.
Key skills:
- Ideally Golang experience (C/C++/C#/Java/Scala alternatively)
- Integration (not ETL) and Back End dev experience of low latency systems
- Apache Flink ideally or other engines: Spark, Beam, Dataflow, Pulsar, etc.
- A working experience of Kafka or Kinesis
- AWS serverless services: lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.
- AWS Fargate, Kubernetes (desirable), Terraform (desirable)
- Experience of NoSql document Databases like MongoDB, Dynamo, Cassandra (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of the Agile development process and tools
- Good working knowledge of system integration and business requirements process
- Experience of working as a Senior Engineer on large scale integration or data platforms or similar
- Experience of working with large scale, high volume, Real Time data, applications and infrastructure
