Java Developer
Senior Java Developer required by large Investment Bank, based in London (Flexible Remote Working) to work within the Bank's Front Office Derivatives/eTradingg Pricing team.
This development team is driven to provide world class technology to support the bank's Financial Markets business. Based in London (flexible working from home), you will collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations..
Essential Skills and Knowledge required
- Strong Java development skills including experience with multi-threaded
- Experience of FX/FWD business and/or experience of high-performance/low latency development.
- Highly motivated to work directly with traders
- A computer science/equivalent degree
- Strong communication skills
- Must have experience with multi-threading programming
- Experience with asynchronous and event driven programming
Functional skills:
- Financial Market domain knowledge
- Investment banking is a strong plus
- Derivatives business is a plus
- e-trading and FX is a plus
