You MUST have the following:
- Senior/Lead Java Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer experience
- Advanced Java
- CI/CD deployment experience
- Knowledge of Agile
- Some exposure, non-commercial included, of cloud - AWS, GCP, Azure
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Python
- Finance- Trading, Front Office, equities, Fixed Income, credit, rates, FX, commodities, risk
- TypeScript/JavaScript
Role: Senior Java Developer (Lead Principal Java Developer Software Engineer Programmer CI CD Agile AWS Amazon Web Services GCP Azure Python Finance Trading Front Office Equities Fixed Income Credit Rates FX Commodities Risk TypeScript JavaScript React Hedge Fund Asset Manager Investment Management) required by our asset management client in London. You will be working in a department dedicated to research and data analytics for trading Front Office departments. The department builds all their tools internally with a Java, AWS, gRPC, protobuf, Kubertnetes, Terraform, Docker, Python, TypeScript, React stack. So far, they have built tools such as a quant model search engine, quant model automated deployment tool, quant library and now an analytics tool that scrapes data off existing quant models in order to generate analytics for traders and researchers. You will work on this latter product and could be assigned to new tools within the next 6-9 months. There will be some Front End development in TypeScript and React but this is not essential to have. The team are full-stack. There are no separate DevOps or QA's.
