Our client who is a global leader in the IT location-based services is looking to onboard a DevOps engineer for an ongoing project. You will be working with the Optimization and SRE teams and in this role you will be responsible for making targeted fixes to the code and related infrastructure servicesJob Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Rate: 40 EUR/h
Job Type: Contract: 12-24 months
Responsibilities
- Supporting the wider Optimization Team's work to migrate and/or update services.
- Optimize the AWS infrastructure and upgrade databases.
- Making improvements to the automation infrastructure.
Skills
- Experience writing/reading/debugging code in one or more languages, such as: Python, Shell, Ruby.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and managing Linux-based systems in a cloud like AWS.
- Experience with solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes.
- experience with Terraform and Cloudformation.
- Experience working as part of a team, using analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and follow industry trends.
- Ability to analyze and optimize high-traffic internet applications.
