Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Senior Interaction Designer, a six month contract inside of IR35 on a daily rate of £400 - £485 a day. Ideally our client is looking for candidates who can visit their onsite offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh, however remote applications may also be considered.
Working on a high profile public sector programme, you will be working out the best way to let users interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements.
Work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts and have responsibility across complex services.
Make key decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others.
Main duties will include:
- Design and validate a range of static and dynamic prototypes.
- Identify, propose and evaluate design solutions to meet the needs of users across a variety of channels.
- Make use of and contributes to government service design patterns.
- Share best practice and can coach others.
- Understand constraints and communicate these and work within them.
- Ensure standards are being met, particularly for accessible and inclusive design.
