Ruby on Rails Developer | Remote | 3 months + extension | OUTSIDE IR35
Here at Jefferson Frank we are currently partnered with a specialist Data and Digital Transformation consultancy who are in pursuit of a Ruby on Rails Developer for a government client.
MUST be eligible for SC Clearance or holds an Active SC Clearance!
The Role:
This opportunity is for a high-profile client, analysing their existing processes, identifying, and implementing opportunities to optimise these processes, and developing solutions to deliver service improvements to them.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, carry out and manage development phases.
* Participate in architectural development.
* Analyse, debug, and test software.
* Find and solve production and non-production application issues.
* Create, launch, and maintain critical, high-volume, low-latency systems.
* Developing and maintaining Ruby on Rails government public facing digital services.
Essential Requirements:
* Extensive experience on relevant development projects
* Experience with Ruby on Rails
* Experience with Node.js
* Experience with React
* Experience of working within large, complex, and geographically dispersed programmes
Desirable skills:
* Experience with Angular
* Experience with AWS
