SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - OUTSIDE IR35 - REMOTE
Loriens client requires an experienced Software Developer with solid commercial AWS development experience to assist with the move from Legacy on-prem to new cloud-native solutions.
The main focus will be on the collaborative development of new server-less micro-services using AWS lambda functions and TypeScript/JavaScript.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:
- AWS including:
- CDK
- Serverless (Lambda)
- S3
- API Gateway
- Cloud Formation
- Typescript (or modern JavaScript)
Along with, significant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
- Making excellent quality software with other people.
- Working with business stakeholders, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value.
- Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
- Developing within GDS or Digital First (or similar) quality standards
- Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes
- Formal XP engineering techniques, including Pair Programming and Test Driven Development
- Defining infrastructure-as-code
