Job Title: Senior Release Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months Contract
Description:

- Our goal is to enable mobile-centred smart banking faster, more effectively and in a way that sets the standard of modern banking and paves the way for bank of the future.
- Sub-Department: Engineering Foundation
- You will work within the newly formed Cloud Platforms function. We are driving innovation across the bank through the use of cloud solutions.
- Our team is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing operational support of cloud services for the client's Digital business.
Role purpose:
- We're implementing platform as a service solution for our internal customers.
- Our goal is to provide robust, resilient, developer friendly ecosystem for hosting applications in the cloud.
- You'll be working with Engineering and Delivery Leads to set and define Release Process across the Cloud Platform needed for successful delivery of highly complex cloud products.
Knowledge & Experience we need:
- Good Leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools like Jenkins, GitHub
- Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule
- Advanced communication skills both written and verbal. Stakeholder Management
- Experience with cloud services and concepts (AWS)
- Understanding of Kubernetes (EKS)
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle
- A high level of motivation, quick to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
