React Developer - Outside IR35
Location: London - 2-3 days pw in office
Duration: 6 months initial
Start Date: Flexible (July-August 2022)

Requirement: You must be based in the UK for this role
This company work in the foreign exchange and payments services industry and require their Front End web applications to be rewritten using modern JavaScript technologies. They're re-engineering its existing cloud-native stack as the platform looks to support the next step in scale and functionality, as they move to an API-first mindset.
Role:
- Re-imagine and replace the customer onboarding UX and UI's to minimise drop-off and increase visibility and data quality
- Contributing to the design and layout for the new internal UX and UI's for Operations and
- Compliance to achieve better client outcomes
- Brand new client portal specifically aimed at new higher revenue target clients
- Be part of a development team helping in the design of a RESTful API to support our own
- web applications
- Work closely with existing developers
- To help mentor fellow team members with new concepts and frameworks
- Share knowledge via architecture meetings and technical handovers to all members of the
- Engineering team
Core Technical Skills
- Strong JavaScript skills (3+ years)
- Single Page Application (SPA) experience
- CSS 3, with pre-processor
- HTML 5
- Responsive design/HiDPI support (Scalar icons)
- Re-useable component creation
- Solid knowledge of web security
- REST API integration (Consuming REST API's/Helping design API requirements/Robust to enhancements to API)
- OAuth integration
In depth knowledge of:
- React and/or Vue
- JavaScript testing framework (such as Jest)
- Visual testing (such as Storybook)
- State-management solution (such as Redux)
- Experience in analysing performance during both development and when released in a live environment.
- Measuring page performance
- Measuring User journeys/experience
- Automated monitoring/measurement of errors/performance
- Desirable Technical Skills
- WebSockets (SignalR)
- White labelling - resource management; images, text replacement, CSS/colour schemes (Strategic limitation of customisation)
- Internationalisation issues
- TypeScript
