.NET Developer - Fully Remote - 5 months - £450-£475 Inside IR35 per day
My Financial services client is currently looking for a .NET Developer with Azure experience to join their team for a 5 months contract. This is an Inside IR35 role paying between £450 and £475 per day.
This is fully remote work.
Job Description:
- Develop clean code which adheres to SOLID principles and follows the solution architecture
- Actively participate in driving continuous improvement within the team
- Mentor the team and lead on new skills, technology and problem solving
- Bridge the gap between the engineering team and other teams/personnel (Architecture, Principal Engineer)
- Be actively involved in and lead design decisions
- Support the Product Owner and Delivery Manager in communicating and updating stakeholders
- Assist with translating technical solutions into language that non-technical staff will understand
- Deliver to challenging deadlines
- Ensure that the application life cycle, quality assurance, database engineering and build and deployment tasks are in place and understood by the team
- Be committed to deliver high quality well tested software as part of an agile team
- Help shape the team's ways of working with the Delivery Manager and Product Owner
Skill set required:
- Industry standard principles (SOLID, clean code)
- Experience of application design in a micro-service architecture (considering security and infrastructure)
- Azure Cloud (Networking, Storage, Kubernetes, App Services, Monitoring)
- .Net Core/.NET 6
- .NET Framework (version 3.5+) and C#
- Web API (RESTful)
- SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
- No-SQL (Cosmos Db)
- Unit Test Framework (NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.NET), Integration Testing
- Mocking frameworks (eg Moq)
- Source Control, Build and Deployment Tools (Azure DevOps and GIT)
- Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environment experience, TDD/Unit Testing, Continuous Integration
