Software Developer (Python)
6 Month Rolling Contract//Remote//Up to £590 Inside IR35
Python | Java | Remote | AWS | Javascript
Our client, a global media business is looking for a Senior Developer (Python) to join on a rolling 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with Python however they would consider a Senior Java developer who has some Python experience and is willing to learn Python.
Location: Fully remote with occasional travel to Livingston once things return to normal.
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Rate: £590 Inside IR35
Project: Under NDA
What experience you need?
- Strong Python (3.6+) development skills
- 5+ years of Development experience (eg Java or Python)
- AWS Experience (Preferably Lambda, API gateway, Serverless technologies)
- Experience with CI (Jenkins)
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
Nice to have (not essential):
- Worked with Microservices
- Experience of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation
- Experience using AWS Messaging technologies such as SNS, SQS
- JavaScript experience
