Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with global group of energy and petrochemical companies. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer.
Key Accountabilities:
- Development in accordance to the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.
- Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation.
- Maintaining and improving the existing UI infrastructure of a React JS based web application, and related third party mini-site addins with the use of open source libraries.
- Maintaining and improving the existing Back End services utilised by the application and addins, and related integrations with internal and third party services.
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in building apps using Typescript, JavaScript, ReactJS, Node JS, and developing and consuming GraphQL apis.
- A good understanding of security concepts related to data privacy and the maintenance of the codebase.
- Experience using Cloud Native CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Github Actions.
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest Framework for both Front End and Back End JavaScript applications. Test driven development, with a focus on integration and e2e testing
- Experience of working with SQL databases, including relational design.
Good to Have Skills:
- Understanding of performance testing and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with usability concepts within web & mobile design
- Ability to interpret requirements to produce a design that conforms to specifications
- Experience in Azure services and Functions.
