Role Overview:

The end client is looking for a multi skilled integration Developer who will be responsible for Application and integration Development. The focus is on driving change through quality, documented developments and supporting the end client on there journey to enhancing/upgrading key applications such as our Order management System.

Technologies:

Criteria - Oracle, SQL, MSQL and DellBoomi

Desirables - DBA Experience, HTML, .NET, Azure and understanding of ERP, CRM and WMS Platforms

Roles and Responsbilities:

  • Leads on technical solutions from design through to code level.
  • Leads governance standards across developments from 3rd Party suppliers and internal teams.
  • Leads on improving the automation journey for the end client developments by introducing software tools and frameworks to conduct the tasks with minimum administrator intervention.
  • Takes a lead with working collaboratively with Third party Suppliers.
  • Working closely with Technical Delivery Managers, Application Analysts and External suppliers, to produce accurate delivery estimates, and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
  • Create detailed design documentation clearly aligned to requirements and test scenarios.
  • Leads reviews and meetings and provides updates on Development progress.
  • Work closely with relevant teams internally and externally to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems.
  • Leads post implementation reviews helping to demonstrate success or otherwise of developments.
  • Ownership, development and management of allocated departmental processes.
  • Work on a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions and processes. (From small change requests to large scale system upgrades and replacements)
  • Leads on identifying areas of improvement and develops/implements improvements to existing business practices.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses application issues with the goal of establishing and fixing root cause to the problem.
  • To coach and mentor less experienced colleagues as needed.
  • Participates in all testing activities including unit, integration and system testing.
