MongoDB Developer | 6 months Contract | Remote
One of my consultancy clients are looking for a MongoDB Developer for an initial 6 month contract. The role will be mainly remote working however there would likely be the requirement to go to site to collect equipment and meet the team.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge on Big data/Hadoop echo systems, Mandatory for MongoDB experience.
Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Should be able to design, develop & implement Mongo DB
- Should have knowledge on Java and should be able to connect the web apps to the Mongo DB
- Recommend and implement best practices for Rest API integration framework/model
- Develop MongoDB and API prototypes and proofs of concept
- Good understanding of DB schema design, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Operational experience with MongoDB Datamodelling
- Operational experience with Indexes
- Maintain and configure MongoDB instances
