Location: Ireland Remote
12 month extendable contract.
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
The Solution Design Architect is a member of the project team and works in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture group, Pharma Tech (PT) department, System Owners, AWS, Databricks, and Business Analysts. Solution Architecture deliverables will be approved by an assigned Enterprise Architect.
The Solution Architect is a key participant in on-going efforts to maintain, develop and implement data lakehouse outline-solutions, procedures and processes designed to demonstrate the value of pre-defined business use cases.
In line with the business roadmap and a reference architecture, the Solution Architect is expected to deliver the solution architecture including integration, analytics, with potential use of AI/ML, and oversee implementation for a technology stack for manufacturing insight. He or she has extensive knowledge of Integrations (preferable real time), Data Processing for Data Lakes (AWS &/or Databricks) (data processing) in combination with lakehouse concepts and surrounding change management processes.
The delivery of the architecture will be providing near real time data from the manufacturing plant to a selection of BI tools. The Solution Architect will formulate solution plans and provide guidance on Lake House AWS architectural best practices and where applicable select the appropriate AWS service(s) from various product vendors based on data, compute, database or security requirements.
· Serves as liaison between the IT organization, business groups and various vendors/suppliers.
