MongoDB Administrator | 12 month Contract | UK Hybrid
One of our consultancy clients are looking for a MongoDB Administrator for an initial 12 month contract with one of their engineering clients. The role will be heavily focused on MongoDB Admin on Linux Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- MongoDB administration skills on Linux platform.
- Responsible for ensuring daily health and compliance checks are performed for all Production systems.
- Responsible for ensuring database systems are backed up successfully and any issues are promptly resolved.
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient capacity is available to accommodate projected BAU growth.
- Responsible for database installation, configuration, tuning, upgrades, and general maintenance activities.
- Responsible for providing technical support to application support and development teams.
- Responsible for executing disaster recovery procedures when necessary.
- Responsible for participating in On-Call rotation, triaging, and addressing production issues as they arise.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of MongoDB
- Working knowledge of SAP (Sybase) ASE .
- Working knowledge of SQL Server
- Working knowledge of Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, C#, Java, uby. Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Solaris.
Contract Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: UK Hybrid
- Duration: 6-12 months Initial
- Pay Rate: £450 per day (Negotiable DoE)
