Java Engineer - £600 per day INSIDE IR35 - 6 months (extensions highly likely) - ONE STAGE PROCESS - SC clearance required - Bristol Onsite
Yolk Recruitment are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a aerospace and defence company to work on innovative technologies which are found nowhere else in the UK.
You will be joining a world class defence and aerospace company who have an excellent track record within their sector. Although it is a 6 month contract, it is highly likely that they will extend this for you.
Tasks
- Design and Development of Software for mission planning applications
- System integration activities
- Depending on experience: you could be expected to potentially work on the development life cycle
- Support the production and project documentation
Requirements
- Mandatory knowledge of Java/C++
- Design, development and proving of complex software products
- Communicate technical issues with other engineers and stakeholders
- Experience of working within an Agile team
- Familiarity with a range of CI/CD/DevOps Toolsets
- Strong Linux skills are highly beneficial
- Desirable C# and Python
