A global Investment Bank are looking for several Java Developers to join their Glasgow office, on a 6 month contract. This role is Inside IR35 and offers extensions. Take a look at the below and apply for more information:
Day-to-day:
- Work as part of the globally distributed development team
- Application development and support
- Ensure code/design quality
- Automated tests development
- Production rollout and support
- Code/functionality documentation
Experience:
- Java
- Relational database
- Understanding of design patterns
- Experience in working with high frequency/low latency data processing systems
- Experience with high volume data processing systems
- Understanding algorithm complexity
- Experience in designing and developing low latency, high performance applications
- Understanding of Financial/Capital Markets sector
- Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (Solace, MQ)
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux
- Agile/XP development experience including test driven development
