Key Essential Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in (Sitecore CMS, Sitecore Commerce (version 10).
  • Programming skills - C# .NET (both MVC and .NET Core), Solr, OAuth, REACT, vue.js/HTML/CSS/js).
  • Experience in automating unit testing using Nunit, MoQ, postman, Jest, Cypress.
  • AWS working experience AWS (S3, lambda, SQS/SNS).
  • Working knowledge in github code repos, docker, octopus, github actions.
  • Agile/Scrum (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including key .NET APIs, algorithmic complexity, OOAD design principles, secure development life cycle processes, performance tuning.

Desirable Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational/non-relational databases.
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively and clearly in both business and technical areas.
  • Ability to keep discussions at the appropriate level of details.
  • Sitecore Headless CMS implementation.
  • Sitecore JSS.
  • Query on Sumo logs.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experience Sitecore Developer to join us on a contract basis with an immediate start. You will be joining a market leader for integrated accounting, payroll, and payment systems, supporting the ambition of the world's entrepreneurs. The role will entail to build new features and enhancements for the client. This individual will report to the Development Manager and be part of a Scrum team responsible for development and maintenance of their most critical digital marketing platform build on C# .NET and Sitecore CMS. He/she should be a full stack .NET developer with Front End and Sitecore XP/Commerce skills and have hands-on experience in software development life cycle best practices. He/she will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment using the latest in E-commerce, customer insights and integrated digital ecosystems; on-the-job experience in cloud implementation (AWS) devops and platform security & performance.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop features for the platform according to specs using Sitecore CMS, Sitecore Commerce (version 10), C# .NET (both MVC and .NET Core), Solr, OAuth, REACT, vue.js/HTML/CSS/js - be an independent contributor.
  • Use github code repos, docker, octopus, github actions, AWS (S3, lambda, SQS/SNS) as part of development life cycle.
  • Automate unit testing using Nunit, MoQ, postman, Jest, Cypress.
  • Comply to all the definition of done' expectations that is part of our development processes; 0 escaped defects to QA that is avoidable.
  • As a scrum team member, actively contribute to backlog grooming processes.
  • As a scrum team member, have the initiative to speak up and present during sprint demos and retros consistently.
  • As a scrum team member, be actively engaged and volunteer to unblock other team members, volunteer to take up additional responsibilities to meet timeline commitments.
  • Be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders independently to facilitate/document decisions and make progress.
  • Provide release support out of regular hours for movement of changes from dev to production landscape.
