Job Title: Senior Data Modeller
Location: Remote
Salary/Rate: Up to £560 per day - Inside IR35
Job Type: Contract
Company Introduction:
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading publishing clients! They are currently looking for an analyst to map out a to-be approach for our data architecture especially around the Identity domain - users/identities etc and how these map to institutions and then how this maps to salesforce and our institutional sales and how this should flow through the system and how it interacts with other systems.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Design and work with complex data model
- Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs or data models.
- Ability to interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to understand requirements.
- Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Datamodelling skills
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge in using and developing applicable tool sets, eg Snowflake, Collibra.
- Strong research skills.
- Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems.
- Strong understanding of normalised/dimensional Datamodelling principle.
- Knowledge of event driven architectures, Java and AWS
