Information Management Lead

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline., Minimum of 12 years industry experience in IT/IM with experience in the oil and gas industry. Good written and oral communications. Formal project management and systems analysis experience. Strong theoretical knowledge of Project Management standards. Experience in managing small teams of junior personnel.
Principal Accountabilities
1. To manage the delivery of Capital Project IM (Information Management) activities (data, document management, knowledge) and IM deliverables for projects and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.
2. Experience in Data Management and Document Management.
3. The IM (Information Management) Lead will lead the IM organization to effectively deliver IM to project supporting its value drivers and efficient P2A (Project to the Asset).
4. The IM lead will focus on the execution of the IM Plan, including but not limited to stable and efficient document and data control processes, interfaces with EPCs on information delivery per contract SoW and specifications, planning and enabling progressive IM P2A plan and supporting Digital Twin extension to Project.
5. Implement and deliver the IM framework for each project, including the project’s strategy and plan for data, document, and correspondence management, collaboration, knowledge, application and infrastructure support.
6. To ensure that the project IM strategy and plan complies with global standards and solutions e.g. Engineering Information Specification (EIS).
7. Define project requirements for document numbering systems, project specific procedures, folder structures, IM system configurations and user registration.
8. Assist with the handover of project information to customer operating companies and EPC contractors.
9. Serve as an interface with the operations and asset end customers and optimize the final information handover.
10. Assist projects to adopt standard Facilities engineering and associated business processes.
11. Manage differing stakeholder requirements. Demonstrate repeatability and constant improvement in projects across a broad range of geographic, technical and cultural differences. Adopt and implement new technology. Drive cross-discipline engineering standardization required to take full advantage of available technology.
