Description

Role requirements:

  • PowerShell skills: error handling, writing and using advanced features (stream control, parameter validation, pipeline binding, safeguards) are essential
  • Technical over server and network (stores and automation), LAN switching etc.

Even better if:

  • PowerShell job scheduling/exposure to AppSphere ScriptRunner
  • PowerShell ISE and VS Code, remoting, containers, profiles, and modules
  • PowerShell testing with Pester
  • PowerShell v7
  • Another language is a bonus ie Python
  • Active Directory, LDAP, or Novel NetIQ eDirectory
  • Identity Access Management concepts including; SSPR, MFA, SSO, SAML, Directory Services etc
  • Technical across other areas such as server, network, applications, database
  • GIT and source control management
  • Strong documentation skills, familiarity with platyPS
  • Integrating systems through REST APIs, working with JSON/XML datasets
  • Other Infrastructure Automation technologies ie ansible, rundeck
