Job Title: Technical Director/Lead Animator
Start Date: 5th December
Job Type: Contract

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available for a Technical Director/Lead Animator with one of our leading gaming clients! They are an award-winning video game developer based in Eastern Europe, with over 10 years' creating PC and console games, and are looking for someone to join their team on an initial 3-month temp-to-perm contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

1. Help speed up production:
2. Build pipeline tools for systematic asset management between DCC softwares and Unreal Engine
3. Create Maya Python scripts useful for production (Importing animated rigs from Motion builder to Maya)
4. Prepare and implement physics assets for simulation in Maya and in UE5 (rope, cloth, ragdoll)

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Advanced Maya
2. Advanced Python
3. Beginner C
4. Creating feature specific tools for UE5
5. Intermediate UE5
6. Setting up blueprints for character implementation
7.Lead other character technical artist (riggers)
