If you are a SC cleared Software Engineer that can develop and implement applications' build, release, deployment and configuration activities, this role is for you and don't hang around sending your CV!
You must be available for interview towards the end of this week and to start within 2 weeks
You will transform technical requirements and develop requirements to enable product proof of concept testing to prove data integration and migration requirements.
You will be working as part of an internal multidisciplinary POC team, and will have access to team members, both technical and non technical, and leadership.
You must be able to attend a Newcastle office, 2 days a week. Working arrangements will be a blend of remote working and working from the Newcastle office, you will spend roughly 40% of your time onsite and 60% at home.
100% remote working is not available, so please do not apply if you cannot attend the Newcastle office 2 days a week
You need to able to demonstrate the follow skills and have a minimum of 3 years exposure to software engineering;
- Experience developing on cloud (AWS) version control, infrastructure as code, and containerisation tools such as git, terraform,
- Development of API services and Events (Kafka)
- Creation of federated patterns - to enable reuse
- Develop and unit test of product enhancements
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Experience with AWS cloud hosting
- Experience with GitLab

No Expenses are available for this role. The role is outside IR35
Day Rate offered will be in-line with market rates for skill profile
Location and start date
Hybrid - the successful applicant will be required on-site from mid December, this year. The initial contract will run until next April, with an extension likely in the new financial year, from next April 2023
