Description
Cloud Consulting have an urgent requirement for an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join a new project for a high-profile project for a leading company.
The role is outside of IR35, and will require you to be available to work 3 or 4 days p/week in Sunbury/Heathrow or Central London, and other day(s) will be remote.
Deliverables:

Solid understanding of AWS platform.

Excellent Terraform knowledge.

Excellent understanding of AWS Network services (Transit Gateway, VPC networking, etc.)

Excellent understanding of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)

Experience creating CICD pipelines.

Very good understanding of IAM
-
Knowledge of database technologies eg RDS, AWS database services

Good understanding of Load Balancers and Auto Scaling
-
Good understanding of AWS Monitoring tooling, creation of dashboards, alerting etc (Ideally implementation of monitoring tooling)

Excellent understanding of Security on AWS platform

Implementing service meshes on Kubernetes, eg LinkerD, KongMesh

Implementing API Gateway & Ingress services for Kubernetes

Implementing monitoring tools such as DataDog and Dynatrace or logging aggregation tools eg Splunk Excellent hands-on skills with implementation of CICD using AWS Developer Tools (Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, Sonarqube)

Skills to write Bash and Python scripts
