Description
Masentó are working with a boutique consulting company that are looking for a Oracle Application Specialist to join their team whilst they help their customer migrate to Oracle Cloud and decommission some systems, this will be an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend and Outside IR35.
The successful candidate will join the project working remotely with travel to a site in London.
The ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Understand in detail the GB&I architecture of applications, databases, schemas (local, data centre, AZURE data lake).
- Relationship Data Management (currently for Oracle and potentially for PostgreSQL).
- Tech Business analysis for the changes/improvements/projects required for the scope of applications to manage.
- Write and execute test scripts
- Analyse and fix defects
- Manage Tech Incident/problem/asset/change management for the applications under the scope assigned.
Experience with the following is a bonus but not essential:
- Oracle RDMS
- PostgreSQL (required)
- PowerBI (be good to have)
- Azure Fundamentals understanding (required)
- Azure Data Lake (required)
- Azure Databricks (might be good to have)
