Machine Learning Engineer (Python) - R&D Team - FTSE100 Organistion

A FTSE100 Organisation require highly experienced Machine Learning Engineers to join their R&D team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement complex machine learning pipelines including data processing and aggregation, machine learning training and inference
  • Help to enhance cutting edge algorithms and machine learning models and adapt them to production environments (AWS based)
  • Productionise scalable machine learning models, maximising efficiency, time to run and minimising costs
  • Ensure quality of the code and best practice in the software engineering of the solution
  • Ability to work on end-to- end machine learning engagements understanding the data models, process and decisions that the machine learning models automate

Experience:

  • Advanced Python experience in machine learning production context
  • End-to-end experience of productionisation of complex data and Machine Learning pipelines
  • Advanced experience with main Python packages (Eg: Pandas, Numpy, PySpark, Tensorflow, Torch)
  • Ability to optimise python code to improve performance, memory usage and ensure scalability in production environment
  • API deployment experience (including FastAPI)
  • Experience working in AWS environment using AWS tooling
