Software Developer (Finance) - £475p/day Outside IR35 6Mos - Scotland
Parity Group are recruiting on behalf high profile, Scottish public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a Software Developer specialising in finance systems on an initial 6-month Outside IR35 contract basis. This role will be hybrid working with preference for a minimum of one day per week in their Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
Main Objectives
Development and delivery of:
- Development and support of a Prepayment Service
- Development and support of a BACS reconciliation system
- Continued development and support of Supporting products in line with the product and architecture roadmaps.
- Contribute to continuous discovery around finance system solutions.
Essential Skills
AWS including:
- CDK
- Serverless (Lambda)
- S3
- API Gateway o Cloud Formation
- Aurora/Postgres
- TypeScript/Node JS
- Java/JEE/JakartaEE
- Oracle and SQL
- Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills and an awareness of accessibility considerations Desirables
Commercial Experience
- Delivering high quality software collaboratively in high-performing, cross-functional development teams.
- Designing, gaining consensus, and implementing technical solutions for software development projects.
- Developing within Digital First or GDS quality standards.
- Developing solutions using human-centred, research-driven, inclusive design practices.
- Designing and implementing solutions using service and event-based architectures.
- Front and Back End development.
