Lead Application Developer
Contract
Location- Remote
I am currently undertaking a Search for a Lead Application Developerrole for a leading client. Candidates will require relevant experience with a proven track record working at this level.
Are you a Lead Application developer? Can you update complex Legacy code and guide the architecture from aged Glassfish implementations to new platforms? Do you want to make an impact and change the way the world works? Do you want to collaborate and achieve together with committed people to work on a project to update core elements of a Legacy system. We are looking for a Lead application developer to take ownership of the upgrade of a core component of our systems currently using old versions of Glassfish and using 16 bit components. Your role will involve complete ownership of the upgrade process helping us to select the best upgrade path for Glassfish and working with a C++ developer to integrate components which are being updated to 64 bit.
Requirement:
- Java development
- Migration of Glassfish and issues around it
- looking for someone with migration experience moving from an old version to the new version.
