Senior Electronic Engineer, System level, Circuit Design, Power£40 000 - £55 000 - Oxford - Market Leader
A market leader based in Oxford require an Electronic Engineer, to join part of a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. You will be responsible for providing prototype electronics systems to help to retire technical risks, actively engage with project manager to generate and refine Engineering Design Specifications (EDSs), architecture, Theory of Operation and other documents , where possible generate IP.
You will also productise the prototype, develop electronics systems to release status including providing all necessary documentation. Participate in design reviews and work with the Project Manager to define the resources needed to implement your part of the project
Experience:
Circuit schematic and PCB layout for mixed signal systems including signal conditioning, power supply (switched and linear regulators)
Circuit simulation (PSPICE or equivalent)
System level architecture design
Experience of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test
Microprocessor hardware system and software design experience including interfacing
Understanding of Embedded software programming
Design for EMC / EMI
Advantageous:
Analogue Electronics
Digital signal integrity to 1GBps or faster including circuit design and layout.
Scientific Instrumentation
Altium or Orcad
FPGA programming in Verilog, ideally System Verilog (familiarity with Altera preferred)
