Description
Infrastructure Architect - Architect, Unix, Wintel, NetworksMy client, urgently requires a Technical Design Lead to work on a large IT infrastructure solution project. The role is based in Manchester, on a contract basis, for a day rate of up to £500 a day for the perfect candidate.
The candidate must have have a broad understanding of outsourced services along with detailed understanding of three or more of the following subject matters:
- Mainframe (CICS, COBOL, Objecstar, CA Datacom, VSAM etc.)
- UNIX Environments (AIX, LINUX, Solaris etc.)
- Wintel Environments
- Storage Environments
- Network Environments
- Desktop Environments
The candidate must also have:
- Good technical authoring skills
- A working knowledge of ITIL processes
- A working knowledge of Project Delivery Methodology
