THE 'WHAT' (RESPONSIBILITIES - ACCOUNTABILITIES)
Design, develop, maintain and enhance the data platform to support current and future business objectives and initiatives.
* Work with analysts and management to define the direction and requirements for data to support business objectives.
* Design and develop data marts, summary tables and OLAP cubes to support data analysis, modelling and reporting.
* Identify, understand and automate regular reporting and processes.
* Provide training and promote efficient and consistent use of the data environments across the different teams.
* Support the system architecture including availability, software upgrades and performance.
* Support analysts across different locations in the UK.
* Support analysts with SAS working practice and mentor efficient and optimum use of the analysis tools.
* Develop and maintain system documentation including Data Dictionaries, User Guides, Design and maintenance procedures etc.
KILLS - KNOWLEDGE - EXPERIENCE
* Preferably 3 years of SAS experience (SAS DI Studio), however, at least 1 year of experience is required.
* Ability to understand complex business requirements and create business ready, and compliant solutions in SAS
* Able to write comprehensive process documentation required to support the Route-to-Live process (including detailed designs, operations handbooks, other technical specification docs).
* Stakeholder Management.
