Role: Zigbee Test Analyst
Location: Reading
Rate: £30- £40 per hour
Duration: 6 months
I am looking for a software engineer with smart metering experience to work with a global renowned company, you will need to be:
Must have Zigbee experience!
- wide experience in writing test cases for Embedded electronic systems from hardware level to the application layer (at least 3 years of experience in testing), possibly with a focus on radio and protocol testing
- Good understanding of smart metering systems and protocols such as DLMS/COSEM, ZigBee SEP, and experience with utility HES (Head End Systems), interactions with gas meters and electricity meters via ZigBee or other wireless standards.
- Good knowledge of cellular communications (UMTS, GPRS, HSPA) and relevant 3GPP standards for M2M cellular data communication
- Wide experience in using RF test equipment (spectrum and network analysers), tracing tools (Wireshark)
- Good knowledge of short range radio and protocols(ZigBee, IEEE (g), mesh radio)
- Desirable technical skills, attributes and experience:
- Knowledge in DLMS/COSEM for smart electricity and gas meters (ideally SMETS knowledge)
- Experience in working on big projects (more than 100 people)
- Knowledge of HP ALM or HP QC
