An exciting opportunity has arisen for a good team player to join my client in the financial sector during an exciting period of growth, on an initial 3 month contract. they are looking for an Oracle Developer to work within the dedicated IT team in Cheshire.Permanent Salary equivalent is circa £39,725-43,750
This role will be responsible for the development, support and exploitation of all the business system. Other Duties Include
- Carry out development, testing and implementation of software, systems and enhancements to the OTIS application.
- Coordinate IT business information/activity including interpretation of technical documentation
- Recommend solutions for technical aspects of projects as well as broad system improvements
Experience Required:
* Experience in an IT support role in business applications preferably with an application development background
* Experience of creating and executing rigorous system test plans
* Logical thinker with strong ability to problem solve
* The ability to work under your own initiative and to strict deadlines
* Meticulous and good team player
* Ability to communicate both effectively and professionally with staff from all levels
Technical Skills Required:
* Oracle 10G or above database
* PL/SQL, Oracle APEX development
* Business Objects desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
* Exposure to Agile and/or traditional development methodologies.
* Systems and UAT testing.
* Office Technology Systems Knowledge
* Processing & Procedural Knowledge
* Product & Services Knowledge
