I currently have an urgent requirement for a leading bank in Leeds for a SAS Test Analyst. The details are below-Location: Leeds
Duration: 3 months rolling.
Rate: £ p/d
Start Date: ASAP
The role-
- Knowledge of full testing lifecycle and v-model.
- Extensive experience in multiple test phases including reviewing requirements and specifications as well as defining test conditions
- Experienced in designing test cases and test scripts, mapping to predetermined criteria as well as recording and reporting
- Experienced in the interpretation, execution and recording of test cases in accordance with project test plans
- Proven experience in analysing and reporting test activities and results
- Proven experience in identifying faults in system behaviour and raising any defects
- Is forward thinking and can successfully manage their own schedule and daily workload
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Excellent SAS knowledge including exposure to Enterprise Guide and DI Studio. SQL experience would be beneficial.
- Experience of Quality Centre specifically Test Plan/Test Lab/Defect Management components.
Key responsibilities:
To conduct testing activities in line with programme requirements to ensure that the change / release is fit for purpose.
- To input into documentation produced as part of multiple test phases.
- To assist test manager in test planning activities within assigned roles
- To carry out test execution and document results in the required standard
- To report defects through the agreed process and assist other programme colleagues to find the best solution to the problem
- To produce clear and accurate reports based on the outcome of each test phase
- To input into the development of automated test capabilities where appropriate
- To ensure quality, timeliness and completeness of the work they deliver
